Waiting For Will Ferrell

My competitiveness can sometimes get the best of me and it totally did this week. I’ve been so stressing out about eventually skating in a meet and doing well — a meet that’s a year away I might add — that I lost sight of the journey.  Then I came across this.

It reminded me I need to just calm down. It doesn’t have to be all serious. I don’t have to be all serious.  Because really? I’M NOT. I don’t know what the hell got into me but I think we’re now back to the regularly scheduled Sharon. She who over shares and writes ridiculous emails and prank calls her friends and treats everyone she meets like a new friend and not a competitor – a new friend who I would totally try my hardest to beat in a race if it came down to it – but a new friend nonetheless. So yes, I have calmed down.

Thank god. Competitive Sharon is a bit crazy.

And damn it if I didn’t watch that whole video waiting for Will Ferrell to come skating out all Blades of Glory-like.  Watch my icy hot super slide. Let’s kick some ice.

So disappointed.

But now, don’t you want to be able to do that too? ;)

Stay calm, carry on my friend :)
