The Two Sweetest Words In My Life

Recovery Week.

I didn’t even know recovery weeks EXISTED. I had no idea I’d ever get a week off let alone once a monthish. You can only imagine the happy dance I did when I listened to the message from my trainer Suzanne tell me I had a recovery week. And I still didn’t know what it meant but then I went into the Training Peaks program we use and there was NOTHING THERE.

I may get a t-shirt made with ‘I Heart Recovery Weeks’.

Also, two stroke breaths seems to be the way to go with swimming.

This is turning out to be a pretty good week.

Editor’s Note: I went back into Training Peaks and THERE WAS STUFF THERE. Apparently I don’t get the entire week off. So far the only thing I’ve done properly this week was the part where she noted “I could take a day off from boot camp if I wanted.”

But at least I did it really really well.
